  • This seasonal box includes the following:

Shatavari and Ashwagandha Ghee- a deeply nourishing herbal ghee that is perfectly balanced to deliver the cooling and pitta balancing properties of Shatavari and the warming, strengthening properties of ashwagandha. Ghee is a potent anupana or carrier, having the ability to deliver herbal remedies deep into the tissues. Aside from a delicious addition to cooked rice or as a condiment to your favorite fall dish, this herbal blend is known to aid with stress support, calming the nervous system, boosting immunity, improving digestion and absorption of nutrients and improved joint and muscle health. These herbs perfectly compliment each other to promote physical stamina and rejuvenation of the tissues. If you are unfamiliar with ghee, think of it as clarified butter, only better. 3oz

Goldenrod Honey Tincture- This solar herb absorbed the vibrant energy of the sun all season long, before it was harvested at its peak and infused with raw honey under the first full moon of the fall season. This combination of influences created a multi-layered herbal medicine that will be just the thing for those aggravating fall allergies. Goldenrod has been used in Western herbalism as a kidney tonic, helping to flush fluid through the urinary system and promoting a healthy bladder and kidneys. It is also a fantastic fall ally because of its ability to reduce inflammation in the upper respiratory system, thinning mucus, easing congestion and helping to ease drippy noses and eyes. Ragweed met its match when Goldenrod came to town. This delicious honey tincture is preserved with a little brandy and is perfect right off the spoon or swirled into a cup of nettle tea for a double herbal whollup. 2oz

Soothing Care Syrup- This herbal blend was grown and harvested straight from my garden just in time for fall “crud” to be creeping in. Anise hyssop, Korean mint, tulsi, pineapple sage and star anise are slow steeped then blended with fresh honey to deliver a one-two punch. These herbs are known to treat and soothe upper respiratory issues as well as ease an unsettled digestive system. Perfect comfort care for fall woes. 4oz

Mountain Girl Bitters- One of my favorite digestive aids, this tincture is made from a blend of bitter and aromatic herbs and spices such as dandelion, gentian root, chamomile, lemon balm, cardamom, orange peel and lemon peel. The cooling action of bitters helps soothe gas and bloating and indigestion while aromatics and other herbs stimulate the digestive system. This signals the brain to produce adequate digestive juices, improve bile production (aids in fat digestion) and improve the absorption of nutrients.  Bitters can help enhance appetite, reduce sugar cravings and improve sluggish digestion. 1oz

Crud Cutter Tincture- Sometimes a germ or allergen sneaks by your defenses and leaves you feeling like…crud. When colds and “bugs” set in, you want to be well fast. Crud Cutter is a potent blend of antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal herbs to help kick the crud fast. Immune stimulating herbs like spilanthes, honeysuckle, echinacea and elderberry deliver fast relief and can shorten the duration of a cold. 1oz

Vata Balancing Massage Oil- This balanced blend of sesame and almond oils is infused with herbs and essential oils to calm the nervous system, nourish the skin and bring balance to an aggravated system. We each contain the three doshas (vata, pitta, kapha) in our bodies. Fall is vata season, which can be overly drying and aggravating to our system This can present itself with anxiety and agitation, dry or irritated skin or eyes, cracking and popping joints, difficulty concentrating or staying focused, poor sleep or insomnia, erratic digestion, constipation, ringing in the ears and vertigo to name a few. This simple self-care practice of massaging oil into the body has proven effective in balancing and grounding excessive vata for thousands of years. Start with a nightly foot massage before bed or go for a full head to toe treatment 1-2 times a week and you’ll feel the difference right away. 4oz

Fall Spice Blend- This seasoning blend is salt free and nicely balancing to the cool, light, dry qualities of the season. Coriander, cumin and ginger warm and stimulate the digestion while fennel soothes the digestive organs. Fall days still teeter between dry and wet so a good rule of thumb is on dry days have a touch more salt and on wet or rainy days have less as salt draws and holds moisture in the system. Blend this seasoning mix with the perfect amount of pink Himalayan salt to suit your dietary needs. 1/2oz

Fall Spiced Tea- Rich with the fresh tastes of fall, this tea blends together apple, pear, cinnamon, hibiscus and sunflower petals. Sweeten with a bit of honey and sip a nice warm cup of fall. Warm herbal teas and spiced milks help to balance vata, soothe and relax the nerves, warm the digestion and nourish the body.
